I have a small question.....

I was just wondering if Clown fish were the only fish you can put in a tank with Sea Anemones. We set up our saltwater tank, and thinking of some fish to put in it, while the tank is settling. My boyfriend really like the sea anemones, and I don't want to accidently kill any fish, by putting them in with them. Thanks in advance.

First I would like to ask you a couple questions:

    1. What size is the tank and how long has the tank been setup?

    2. What type of lighting are you using and what species on Anemone is it?

An Anemone can sting other fish that are in your tank but generally it won't happen.

Anemones are very difficult to care for, require prestine water conditions, a established tank perferably 1yr, and high lighting using MH's. Clownfih don't even need Anemone to survive or fluorish in a home aquarium, and they will even host in other things such as LPS corals, such as Frogspawn, and Torch. :)
