I have had a very busy few days

Hi everyone, Well i have my brother in laws staffordshire bull terrier cross staying with me as she was pregnant and he has gone away on holiday.
Anyway after 2 days of slow labour she finally whelped 3 males pups this morning.

The first i had to help breathe as he swallowed alot of fluid and could not breathe properly but now all are doing well mum is great and all sleeping well.

Just thought would share this news with everyone.

Congrats on the new pups! We'd love to see some cute puppy pictures...I know I can never see enough cute puppies...especially of the bully variety!

Lady is going to the vets at 5:10 as she is panting like made is acting very aggitated so vets thinks there maybe a retained puppy high up in the uterus.

Hi everyone she had her vet visit and all is well, He gave her a shot of oxytocin to help contract down her uterus completly and she is now nursing happily with her new family.

Yay! I'm glad to hear she and the puppies are doing well. I would be so sorry to miss the birth, if I were her owners!

 

Oh my goodness! Well congrats on the pups. But man, I wouldn't miss my dogs whelp for ANYTHING!!! holiday or not!!!

Anyhow. Glad everything went well. Good thing you know what your doing. I would have thought retained puppy myself. Glad that wasn't the case.
