he stayed in the backyard the whole time. he was out for about 30 minutes or more and i watched him the whole time. he had fun! he chased a lizard and followed kuma around. he tried to go next door once but soon got the point when i hissed at him. only problem is he is a mulch magnet!

I'm happy to hear he enjoyed himself. Hopefully this will calm him down a bit while he's inside!

Sounds like it went well. Was he more behaved in the house then?

That's great, Kyles. :y_the_best: Let us know how Pepe is doing. I've mentioned this to you before, but I always felt that Pepe should be an indoor/outdoor cat, if it was safe enough in your neighborhood. I wish Romeo and Juliet could come and go inside and outside as they please, but there are just too many hungry coyotes here. I wish Pepe all the best and hope that him going outside will help with some of his behavioral issues. If you get a chance you should take a pic of him outside. Has his hair grown back completely, yet? Despite his "unacceptable behavior" he is a beautiful cat. How much does he weigh now?

we let him out again today. this time he was after a bird in a tree. everytime it chirped hed meow and get vocal. luckily he has no way of getting up the tree/plant psuedo tropical thing. he wasnt more behaved in the house but this is probably because we only let him out for about 30 mins at the moment. im not quite confident yet of letting him out for the day unsupervised. i think i might start to let pheobe out again too so she can lead him around and they can do things together outside instead of invading each others personal space inside [its a small house]. his hair has almost grown back. we clipped him again after the first time we did it. hes 8 kgs now.

Pepe will probably be happier if he gets to stay out longer. Phoebe might be too. Milo is definitely happier after 2 hour excursions but he loves to eat things that make him sick. :( I hope all works out for Pepe and Phoebe.
