I think Booger likes her new condo!

She's been hanging out up there practically all day! She loves that it's right next to the window so she can laze and gaze at the same time  When this pic was taken, she was watching TV

When she crawles into the tube at the bottom, she chases her tail up and around. It's so funny to watch! She's really enjoying it

What a life! I'm envious of Booger. Life doesn't get any better than this!

It's great when they enjoy and use the things we buy for them. That's a cute pic by the way.

Especially when they're as expensive as kitty condos!!

Phew, you got that right! I was chewing nails at the price (I'm economical, not cheap  ). After all, it's just rope, wood and carpet. But now that it's home and I see how much she's enjoying it, and the fact that she'll use it for many years to come, I feel a little better about the price. And I do have to say, it sure is well made and sturdy. We paid $70 for it. It's about 3.3 feet high. I have it set on a low table adding about another foot to it's height and placed a towel covered box at the base to add another step for her.

$70 is steep. It's a good thing that the scratching post is put to good use. Ever try ebay? Sometimes you can get great cat furnitures for real cheap.

I looked around on ebay and although they start out cheaper, by the end of the auction you're still paying a heafty price PLUS shipping. The one we bought must weigh at least 30 lbs so the shipping would be outragous. I do plan on trying to build her a bigger one in time. But I'm really not sorry we bit the bullet and bought this one, she's really enjoying it.

I like this one too especially since Booger is enjoying it so much. Wow, you're gonna have one spoiled kitty when your scratching post is built. Just kidding. One can never spoil a cat! Are you going to build a carpet type or wood type, or combo with sisal rope? How tall will it be?

    I'm thinking carpet/wood right now. We'll see
