I think my rabbit is sick..

The last couple of days I've noticed that the fur around my rabbits eyes (and one time around his nose) is wet. His eyes looks fine but it still worries me. It's not all the time, but now and then, and never at both eyes at the same time.
Today he was wet around his right eye, and when I tried to wipe it off he backed away, as if it hurt him. Just to check I touched him around his left eye, and he didn't react at all.

Does anybody know what may cause this, and if it could be something serious?
I am taking him to the vet, but because of work I'm not able to until Thursday :(

I can also add that he eats and drinks like normal. He is always happy to see me and I havent noticed any changes in his behaviour.

    Thanks!
