I'm going Skiing, the boys are going to Camp Canine

I head out tomorrow to Salt Lake City for a weeks ski trip. The boys will spend the week at Camp Canine again. The camp "counselor" Michelle really loves Freckles and the last time I went to pick them up she was really worried because Freckles had freaked out over his bath. Turns out she had used a hose and even with low pressure Freckles DOES NOT like a hose anywhere near him. I told her that I had the same reaction at home but when I bathed him inside in the bath tub he was calm and I had no problem. She said this time she would do the same. Before we left Freckles gave her a kiss and forgave her for the hose thing. :lol:

I have a five day lift pass good at Snowbird, Alta, Brighton and Solitude. I consider myself a good intermediate skier after I get my ski legs back under me with easy slopes the first day. Just checked the weather up there and it looks like highs in the upper 30's and lows in the mid to low 20's with alternatind days of snow and sun. Perfect skiing weather for me.

 

they will be in doggy nirvana. I wonder what it is about hoses. Jake the is the ultimate water dog, but doesnt like the hose either. Freckles may have traumitized before you had him

Both my girls LOVE baths, with the hose or not. They just stand there. You dont' have to hold them or anything!!! And when their done. they shake off, and give mommy a bath. And some how or another, they always end up running around with the hose trying to spray eachother, its hilarious!!!

 

Nala is scared of the hose. She also won't go into deep water, and she is scared of being in a tub of water. But she LOVES to run around in shallow water and snap at it with her teeth. Go figure.
