I just found this site which is dedicated to helping people who can't afford health care for seriously ill pets. They also make grants to rescued animals.
Does anyone have any experience with this organization?
I am thinking about making a contribution.
Please visit this site at: http://www.imom.org/make-a-difference.htm
and let me know what you think.
    Thanks

I don't know. But if its true. I would like to try and see for myself what they could do for my rescues.

I've never heard of it, but I did do a search on it. They are a legit non-profit 501(c)3 organization. From what I could see they have already given away almost 300 thousand dollars since 1998. There wasn't one negative thing that I could find.

Also, someone who received help from I.M.O.M. is trying to have Jacki Hadra nominated for Opra Winfrey's Life Time Achievement Award. It seems to be a worthwhile organization that helps pay for extensive health care for pets when people can't afford it.

I'm really going to look into this. I could use any outside funds that are available. It would also greatly help all the rescues get better and more extensive work done.

this organization has been around for as long as I've been cruising message boards - 8 years or so. I would imagine if they weren't legit they'd be history by now. I know a dog/cat board I used to frequent (acme which is now history) imom was suggested many times for people who had valid pet emergencies and they would come through depending on the seriousness of the request and the financial need
