Yea for True_pits. You have been a huge help to me. It seems as if my boy is a decently bred dog. Now on the Ped.s when they say GR CH & CH, are they talking show or "sporting". Also what does ROM mean?

I love those shoulders & chests on those 2 pictures. I personally like "thicker" dogs. lol

I read the interview & it seemed they were big into the "sporting" side of things. How would this affect my boy's temperment? Would he have a stronger drive than other dogs? I mean he is great with smaller dogs & females. I dont really care if he is game or not. I personally would never put him in a stiuation to find out.

Anyway here is a older side shot of him. I need to get newer ones of him because he has better muscle tone since these were taken.

Your dog appears to be be made up of OFRN/Eli/Snooty(mostly Chinaman)/AmStaff

Some titles are show and some are performance.

    Here are two more pedigrees

    Muhammad's China
    http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/pu ... g_id=65790
    Those are match CHs

    EMANUEL'S HANDSOME APOLLO
    http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/pe ... g_id=65797
    Those are show CHs

ROM is Register of Merit and also POR is Producer Of Record
A dog can be a ROM and a POR but usually you don't see that. Because ROMs produce CHs and PORs producer a lot of 1&2 time winners and somethimes a CH or 2. But if a dog producers a lot of winners (including the needed CH or GR CH) then they will be listed as a ROM/POR. In a lot of cases though the POR is just dropped and they will be listed as a ROM when they have produced CHs.

Your dog should be and act like a normal APBT, except maybe have a little better temperament then your average dog. It really depends on how is he is bred and what his parents were/are like for some things. But I'd say that if he is bred right then he should have inhereted the positive traits of them game breeding behind him. He could have a stronger drive, but it depends on personality, some dogs completly lack drive and some are full of it. I find game bred dogs to have better drive all around, as their are different types of drives. They won't quit at nothing until they can't go anymore, but you can find that in some dogs that are not even gamebred. I just finished taking some new pics of my dogs, your boy looks good in those can't wait to see the new ones. He has a pretty head/face.
