It's also interesting that the two sites conflict each other's information... (like the oldest cat, the heaviest, the most expensive...)

I wonder why... that's kind of odd.

But, it's all neat to read.

cool site, vene. I followed one of the links on feeding fish to cats. I've always known this was bad, but Moe is finicky. I think I'm going to start weaning her off of fish-based foods and try to get her to eat poultry.

Halaroo, moderation in feeding Moe fish is ok. Cats like people should have varieties of foods. It makes us healthier. Isn't omega-3 fatty acids in fish good for us?

Right now Moe eats pretty much strictly fish. She can't eat beef (it makes her throw up) and she never ate poultry because Olive wouldn't eat it. I'm going to try to switch her over to poultry (with fish occasionally). I'm sure if it's all she gets, she'll learn to like it.

The dry food she eats is high in omega-3. It's the Wellness Super5Mix Salmon.

Wellness is good stuff except all my cats are sick of it so I sneak them in with their Premium Gold mix. Our cats puke :0024: on beef canned foods too but have no problems with the raw stuff.

Some good websites! Maybe I can use one of the cat pics (under free stuff) and copy it to the other post about "Before and After pics" since it looks just like my guy, huh? heheh~

Grandpa sphinx cat was one amazing cat who lived to be 33 years old and he was so smart too!

I'd be thrilled if half my cats lived to be 20!

    Acatnut-
    Sounds good to me!

i like that too vene....but then i had a thought just as i am writing this...if a person has to read something like that to remember how to treat a kitty...then maybe they shouldnt have a kitty.

but i like it anyway...and it kinda made me want to cry...i get so emotional over those things...

You know Lynn, sometimes I forget about Monty boy. Because he is so good, and no bother, I forget he is there. So after reading the article, I've taken more time to "loving him- playing and petting him, letting him know he is appreciated." Maybe I shouldn't have so many cats because each one's attention is split into 5, competing with the toddler too.

i know...i have to make sure mikey gets extra loving because he is a new member to our family, and max is so "out there" that mikey tends to get railroaded by max all the time. max has to be "first" in everything...to be petted, to eat, to follow me down the hall...to sit on the desk....etc. and if he is not first, he just barges his way right through to where he wants to be. and...he is so likeable in the process with his big eyes and cute face. so...i take mikey in the bathroom and just talk and pet him...spend extra time with him....
