iodine in reef tanks???

    does anyone have any sort of info about inserting iodine into reef tanks to help the cnidairians (coral) do beta in th aquariums?? thanks for ur help

    I know iodine can be helpful to inverts, but too much can be toxic... I would be cautious when adding it...
