Is Parsley safe for budgies?

I have been doing some reading and some sites say that parsley is bad because it does something to the calcium in the body?? Do any of you give it to your birds? I have it hanging up in the cage right now and she seems to be nibbleing on it maybe just tasteing it... is there any nutricional value? and how about cilantro I saw that in the market as well.

Hi i never feed mine parsely as what its supposed to do is stops the calcium from absorbing into the birds body which can be life threatning so i would stay clear or parsnips.

    Cabbage
    Carrots
    Brocolli
    Dandelion leaves washed thoroughly
    Apple
    Banana
    Orange
    Grapes
    Spinach
    Tomatoes

Just a few things they can eat.

The reason birds usually turn there nose up at fruit is because through the ages there diet was only seeds and green leafy foods fruit was very rarely on the menu.
