Is she in love?

I think my kitty, Kali, is in love with my room mate. When he first moved in six months ago, she was really shy about him being around. But for the past couple of weeks, she been love struck.
Every time he comes into the living room, she runs to him(literally) and sits infront of him like an obedient puppy dog, meowing up at him. Then, she'll start rolling around on the floor and stretching out on her back(almost like she's in heat, ). She is spayed and she only does this to him. No one else. Is my cat meowing up the wrong specie tree, or just acting weird to get his attention? Has anyone else had this happen?

 

that is what Max does when people come to visit. especially if they ignore him..i guess he does that for attention. he doesnt do it to me cuz i am always petting him anyway.

 

That's cute. She just likes him.

 

Maybe your roommate has been giving her treats, and her behavior is her way of asking for more?

 

No treats(that I know of). BUT every time she does do it, he picks her up and pets her to "shut her up". So she could be thinking "hey, if I keep doing this long enough, I get what I want". That could be a major factor of why she keep bugging him.

Its great though, she goes after the guy who doesnt like cats. :lol:

That sounds so cute. I think she must just like him, too, and probably does love the attention.
