Is this normal for parakeets

    :?My male keet Bo jangle makes a gagging motion with his beak, it isn,t the first time was just wondering is this a normal action for them, he,ll scratch his head then acts like hes gagging Thanks:

    He could have a respiritory (sp) problem i would have him checked over by an avian vet just to make sure all is well.

    Birds do not show any signs of illness and disease until its too late to do anything about it so its best to have him checked even if just to put your mind at rest.
