just got a rhom

hey so i just got a new rhom. its been in my 60 g tank for 2 days now..but wenever i go near it it hides behind plants. n it wont eat the feeders i put inside. help anybody?

 

probably stressed out in a new tank.

 

yea, give it a few days and let it settle...how large is it?

 

its like 4" how long can it go without food?

n how can i help the stress...jus leave it alone? (new to this *)

prob go a week or 2 without food, but make sure it has the option of eating...to help the stress just keep the tnak full of places so the pirahna can hide when it feels uncomfortable and dont do anything major to the tank right now (clean up alot, change deco aorund, etc) good-luck

 

Why give it feeders, it will have to be really hungry to hunt one down. Why not try some frozen food instead?

 

feeder can also introduce diesase in to your tank like hooben said i would use frozen foods :lol:
