    TILLY TESTED NORMAL
vet checked her temp - normal
    chest x-rays - normal
he wasn't impressed when I gave him the story of the other vet - who used to be an excellent vet - have to wonder if he's dipping his nose where he shouldn't
This vet said that if a cat ever tests positive, in his practice, he always says to do a 2nd test in 2-3 weeks. The results of a truly FIP cat will never change only grow worse.
Tilly was normal right across the board.
I'm sure, as cat people, who can imagine I am so happy I went w/my guy on this one. Other vet said he'd back my decision if I choose to put her down.
He certainly isn't getting a Christmas present this year!!!!! Kick in the arse maybe - oh and I have called them. I love a good cause....

Great news! I wonder how many other patients didn't get a second opinion before doing something regretful?

That's great news Mary! How is Tilly doing/acting--I know you said she tested normal. Is she acting better?

BTW, did you see this month's Cat Fancy? It has a meezer on the cover and an article on FIP and other diseases. I just got it and haven't read it yet myself.
