Just wanted to share my daily smile...

Booger makes me laugh every day with her silly antics but I think my most favorite thing is her waking me with a smile every day.

When I wake up, she is almost always laying in bed next to me. The moment she hears me stir in the least, she lets out a soft mew (like she's too lazy to actually open up her mouth and do a real meow LOL). Then she shoves her face under my hand to make me pet her. If I don't respond, she'll reach out with a barely extended single claw and tap me on my cheek. At this point I'm already smiling and give in and pet her for a min or two.

She really had me laughing this morning when I was giving her her pettings. You know how some cats will stick their butts waaaay up in the air when you scratch them at the base of their tails? Well, Booger was lying flat on the bed when I began scratching her and she raised her entire hind end up while still down flat on her front end. It was so funny. It was like her hind end was standing and her front was still laying on the bed LOL

I love waking up to her every day and the smiles and laughter she gives me.

 

That's wonderful. I can relate! Luna puts a smile on my face every morning as well. She almost always sleeps on the bed with me, and the moment I begin to even slightly move, she stretches and walks over to me and starts purring. If I don't pet her, she starts chirping at me and stands on my chest. If that doesn't work, she starts rubbing my beard with her face until I bust out laughing. She knows that when I get up, it will be time for breakfast and maybe some play, so she likes to jump the gun. The slightest movement from me, and she's like "hey, it's time to get up, woo hoo!!!"

She is literally the biggest joy in my life.

 

It really is funny and cute...and if I dont respond, she'll walk across me back and forth. And it's amazing how heavy and painful such a delicate looking kitty can be when stomping across your boobies LOL.
