They're a type of small catfish that gets about 2". They're peaceful and do a wonderful job of eating algae (even brown algae which most "algae eaters" won't eat). It is generally best to add them to a tank after it's been established for a while and has some algae growth so they won't starve (some don't really like algae waffers).

Here's a couple pics of mine:

Are they really good? Better than a pleco, interms of eating algae?

Are they better than my Albino Cory Catifish?

IMO, yes, they are better than plecos at eating algae. I had a huge problem with brown algae in my 10 gallon. I was having to clean the glass every 2 or 3 days. After I added 2 otos, I haven't seen a bit of the algae.

Also, cories really aren't known for eating algae. They do a wonderful job of eating leftover food that the other fish miss, but they don't do too much for algae.
