Kitten biting/sucking issues (different from others posted)

I have noticed a number of issues on the forum regarding kitten sucking/biting, but have created this thread because my kitten doesnt really fall under any of those categories.

I got him, and his sister when he was nearly four months, and this behaviour has slowly been getting worse. At night he bites/sucks me. When it first started he would bite me, and not let go (it was like his jaw would lock onto me - it really hurt), it was usually on my hands or fingers. Now, its progressed where he places his mouth on ANY skin outside of my covers(usually my neck or shoulders), then his whiskers start twitching, then he licks, sucks, then bite, lock. As soon as his whiskers start twitching I was covering myself with the covers, but now he tries to pull the covers away. It's fine while I am awake I can control it, mostly by ignoring him, or covering the area. His sister doesnt do any of this.

I am away for long hours during the day, so locking him out of the room isnt an option, and neither is spraying him with water (as I don't want to get my bed/sheets/etc wet). I havent had a decent nights sleep in weeks now. He is now five months.

Can anybody please offer some advice on how to get him to stop. I have tried blowing in his face, flicking him, keeping him busy during the day (they have piles of toys), giving him extra attention when I am at home, making a loud noise when he does it, telling him off and placing him on the floor, ignoring. He is one determined cat.

Oh, and he is siamese, so anybody who has a siamese can appreciate how determined they are when they put their minds to something!!

    Help!

did you get him directly from the breeder?
I ask cause if not he was probably taken from his mother too soon. 4 months is old enough but siamese should ideally stay with their mother until they are about 12 weeks old cause they mature slower than other breeds of cats.
    You have become mom!!!!
He's trying to nurse off you.
Encourage him to sleep with a stuffed animal...perhaps he'll show his affections to this new toy (a large one) rather than you.
My bluepoint Siamese will do this if I let her near my neck. She'll knead my hair and drool all over my neck!!! She was nearly 2 when she came into my life and at 10 years of age will still do it. I make her move. I don't discipline her at all (doesn't do any good with cats anyways, especially Siamese), I just remove her from my neck.
I would love to see pictures of your baby meezers....we have something in common. I have 2 and I also foster Siamese cats - number 47 coming in Saturday.
But just discourage him from doing this. Move him to another spot on the bed a few times, give him a nice soft stuffed toy to sleep with. It might take him awhile to get the idea that he has to stop but by doing it gently rather than forcefully will get better results.
You should be flattered though (when you're not tired) cause he sees you as being his Mom!!!!

Yes, I did get him from the breeder - and he was with his Mum from when he was born in November until about six weeks ago.

He isnt sucking so much as biting more than anything. He does one tiny little suck, and then a big bite and when he latches on its hard to get him to stop, he locks his teeth in (but doesnt suck when he does that).

They have stuffed toys! They have a big cat toy they cuddle into, that lives on my bed with their 'special blanket'. I tell you, these cats get the royal treatment! haha!

I remove him when I am awake, but when I am asleep, its not nice to wake up to!

I have noticed lately, the only time he really purrs is at night when we have our cuddles, and he does the biting thing. He has little purrs at other times, but it's not the same, so it's definitely an affection thing. I also found somebody else who had a flame point siamese whose cat was 4 and a half and doing it. Perhaps its just something about the fiery red heads! haha! (His sister is a tortie point)

I would attach a photo of the two monsters but I think you have to pay to do it on this site?? I also have another Siamese, who lives with my parents because he didnt handle my recent move very well :( He is a chocolate point.
