Sorry it took so long but we were at my grandmothers birthay "party" :)

Everything is ok with the mother cat and her kittens, so far there's three, but maybe another one on the way :D

We just left her alone for a while and everything went fine. Guess where she chose to give birth? In an old DIRTY bucket in the cold garage... :?
We moved them to her bed, and they all setteld in right away.

I'm a little concerned about the one who came out first... One back leg don't seem to be working (it's just hanging there) and the mother doesn't lick him/her as much as the other two.

I'm at home now, but I'm promised updates if anything happens :)

I'm going over again to morrow, and then I'll take some pics! :love_y_t_much:

    Update:Now it's 4 kittens

Congrats! Might not be a bad idea to take the babies and mom to the vet for a check-up and possible spaying. :0018: I'm really worried about the kitten with the dangling leg. :(

    I'm worried too

I'll offer to take them to the vet tomorrow when I'm going to visit. Maybe the vet will come home to her as well? I know she did that one time before, when fox had a long, sharp blade of grass up her nose and down her troath. But then it was really an emergency...

Anyway, I promise I'm going to help taking good care of them :) But I disagree with my mothers decision to wait and see... :|

Oh, I forgot to tell you one thing...

But you must promise not to be mad or anything....?

As you know fox had a little trouble getting the first one out, and before I got there my mom tried to help out a little. To her defence: She was really worried when the contractions almost stopped and the kitten was coming with the tail first.

So she tried to pull the tail, VERY gently. And when I came in the door she almost cried b/c the tip of the tail had fallen off! :-&

My grandfather said that it probably wouldn matter, it wasn't that much...
    What do you think?

i think it should be alright. Long as there wasnt any excessive bleeding or anything i can't see the harm.

your poor mom heh i can imagine how distraught she must have been.

Sounds like the kittens leg (the other kitten) might be broken- which is possible or maybe even dislocated.

Sounds like it was a tough birth.

hope to hear more updates!!! All our love your way! [-o< :kiss_heart:
