Labor day weekend we went to Lake Superior. Didn't have the new kitten yet and didn't want RD torturing the older cats for three days so we took him along. He has always traveled like a dream but this time we wanted to take him with us outside of the car so tried the leash. He walked all over Fort Wilkins like a little champ - let all the kids (and adults) ooh and aah over him and then went to the beach where he collected sticks and dug in the sand like a champ. I have never had one with the temperment to walk on a leash before and am so proud had to show pix.

That's so cool! What a cutie. I had my one cat used to a leash for a while when she was a kitten. But, life got so hectic that we got out of practice. I would've liked to have kept her used to it.

People love seeing cats out on leashes. I bet my cats would've loved walking in the sand (if they were willing to on leashes)!

LOL. Great pic! :y_the_best: I agree! That's got to be the best litter box in the whole world! Both of my kitties are harness trained as well. It's so much fun for them to go to different places. I know my kittens enjoy it a lot.
