Does anyone use this? I watch someones cat while they are away and they have one. It seems huge. How does it work? Is it sort of like a toilet? I would be so worried that my cat would fall in. I looked at their website and it says it is recommended for cats smaller than 5lbs or bigger than 20. here is the site: http://www.litter-robot.com/

For $329 I'll get on my hands and knees and clean out Ruby's pooper with my little shovel !!!!

I think I've seen those in a magazine once. Intersting, I wonder how it compares to the littermaid. I saw one that actually hooks up to a septic tank (I think?) and flushes and cleans itself...I think I would like one of those.

Wow, very interesting. Looks like something from a clothes dryer. I've never seen anything like it before.

Interesting product but not the price. It looks like a cross between a washer/dryer and a cement mixer.

Sounds like a convient thing. But I perfer to be able to monitor my babies pee and poo habits since they often indicate early warning signs of medical probs.

To me it bears a resembelance to the machine they use for CT Scans

And I think it is crazy that it has to have electricity. I think that thing seems like a big waste! I think it as as useful as the coffe grinder we have and it is so much easier just to buy the preground coffee!
But I like that pic with the little colored balls in the tray, I just imagine hmm what type poopsie did flufferball have today (open it up expecting normal brown) WOW I knew i should not have drank so much last night

I wouldn't buy it purely based on the companies ad for it...

Restricts mold growth so there's no litter box smell? Last I checked it wasn't mold causing the smell...it was poop. This is why sometimes after Aoisha plants a real stinky one I don't wait the 5 minutes for the rake to kick in, I go and manually start it up. You'd have to leave it uncleaned for like a month for mold to start to grow

I hate it when ads do this....they say something like "this is why it's better than the other models!!" and it shows some moron banging plastic pieces together to show how hard it is, when a rat brain in a petri dish could put it together.

    Hmm...

its interesting, I agree that I wouldnt spend that much until someone I know and trust speant that much and it worked perfectly, I actually dont think I would do it then, I think my cat just really enjoys his kitty litter time, the scratching around...its his place and I love him enough to clean his potty for him.
