I tried it with the concave that was made for me but it takes up to much of the depth of the box I need to thin the thickness of it down first I think
do you think a female would lay eggs In here???

Hi kathy you may get eggs in there but the trouble is yje other birds can get inside and this can result in broken eggs or dead chicks,
Budgies when breeding become very agressive and nest protective and they will fight any other bird in the cage to the death if they try going into there nest.

How many females and how many males do you have as there should be a nest box for each pair lined with plain wood shavings..

Of you want to use the cardboard box then its best if you cut off the bottome like you have but only have a hold cut in the box large enuff for them to fit through this will help a breeding female to feel safe in her home......

    Good luck.
