Lynn's cat swap gift!!

Moe and Artemis got their gift today! There was much excitement in my house this afternoon as I open box. Moe immediately rolled around on the tissue paper, until Artemis decided to take it over. Then Artemis watched me unpack toy after toy after toy. Once I got to the feather toys, that was it... he could barely wait for me to cut it out of it's package. I have a couple of nice scratches on my hand from the struggle!

Here's what we got:
3 feather flutter balls
2 cat nip balls
another catnip (I think) toy
a furry catnip cat
a deck of cards (with cats on them, in a neat case)
a cat ornament
a lovely card with guess what .... a cat on it!

:y_the_best: I think the playing cards and ornament are for me, but that's only cause Artemis hasn't found them yet...

On my way down to the computer just now, I found a trail of abandoned cat toys with Artemis at the end of it tossing one of the catnip ball things around!

Moe has enjoyed the box and tissue paper most of all. :roll:

I took some pictures, but my husband stole my camera cable and took it with him on his business trip. I will have it back tonight and I will post the pictures tomorrow!

I just love cat swap....my gifts made it to Australia - goatlicking customs wouldn't let the catnip stuff through :x who made up that rule anyhow

Thanks Mary for your pet swap items. They are pretty strict here in Australia... probably cause we are an island continent. But anyhow, moving onto a more positive note.... KITTY adores her mice that you included in your pressie she was playing with them all last night... and i am so looking forward to indulging myself with the bath bar!!!

I'll try to get the pictures up later today. I searched for my camera cable before work, but was running late, so I had to give up.

BTW - my husband noticed that the brand name of some of the toys is "SmartyCat" -- that's one of Artemis' nicknames!

Moe's favourite part of the whole gift. :roll: She'll sleep on tissue paper as long as I leave it out. Sadly for her, I'm having company tomorrow so I've already tossed it.

I got another package from Lynn in the mail this morning! It contained a cat comb (you fill a compartment with catnip and mount to a corner) and 6 catnip mice! I opened one of the packets of mice and tossed one to Artemis on my way out the door, so he's content for at least a little while and will hopefully let my husband sleep in! Thanks Lynn - you're awesome!

 

Wow, 2nd package! That should hold Artemis' attention for awhile. :mrgreen:
