    hey everyone
well I have been sucessful i making my parrotlet get onto my finger whenever i want.. however he is always in a rush to fly away and back to his cage or playground... do you guys have any suggesions of ways to make him want to be with me more?
my only goal is for him to want to chill with my on my lap or shoulder etc while i watch tv... instead of him wanting to be alone... is this unreasonable to wish for?
    thanks for any help

Best way to help him stay is by holding him longer if he flys off to his cage pick him back up and sit him back on your shoulder or lap, Having some millet spray also helps as he will look at it well if i sit her i will get some treats.

Sounds like your doing a great job with him.

he seems happy to stay on my finger as long as I am like right at his cage or play gym, should I start off by just standing with him on my finger for long periods of time?? Because its always as I walk away he flys away.... I can hold him but then he bites and wiggles out...
any suggestions?? Ill try the millet today

Try sitting with him next to the cage for awhile then put him back either in the cage or on top of it then each time you take him out move the chair a little bit away from the cage holding him for longer periods of time keep doing this till eventually you are all the way frm the cage and he is sitting with you without flying off.
