I was hoping you guys could help me with something. My momma cat is going to give birth soon, not sure when since i didnt own her when she got pregnant, but maybe in about 2 weeks, could be longer or even sooner then that.

Anyways Im trying to get prepared for the birth since im not sure when its happening. Im making a list of supplies I should have on hand incase she needs help or there are complications. Of course if there is anything major im taking her straight into the Vet.

So far on my list I have...
    Towels
    Newspaper
    Gloves
    Thermometer
    Heating Pad

I know Im leaving stuff out but Im blanking. Any suggestions to add to my list would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I would add some KMR and little kitten nursing bottles just in case...one can't be too prepared at times like this
and perhaps some Valium - for you

    How exciting.

When our one kitty had kittens many years ago, we made a bed for her out of a cardboard box, put towels in the bottom of it and had it ready for her for when she was ready to give birth.

She tried nesting in a closet ahead of time, but we encouraged her to go into the box we made and had it in the family room. It worked out fine.

Best of luck. Would love to see pictures after they are born.
