Marlee's Home From Her Spay!

Everything went great! Her foster mommy did the surgery so I knew she got the 100% best care. The girls are lying beside her "keeping watch", it's so sweet. We all missed her alot today. The girls wandered around checking her favorite spots for her. She has put on a healthy amount of weight since she's come home with us, and she's in perfect health. Yeah!!

 

glad to hear she is home and resting, did they find a UTI?

 

No UTI, but her uterus was as small as a cats, so I'm wondering if her kidneys or bladder could be underdeveloped.. So, I'll set my alarm for 4 am to make sure she doesn't have to hold it, or have an accident, and I'm sure she'll grow out of it.

 

I hope for you that she grows out of it! Brie really hasn't...I wake up as soon as I hear toenails on the laminate floor--be it 2, 3 or 4am which is just 30 minutes before I get up. I've thought about putting a little bell on her collar, but I'm afraid it might scare her. Anyway, I still leave a wee wee pad down and that works well--most of the time. Good Luck!!
