me and the Little Fella

this picture was taken sometime ago when Zeus was still not quite a kitten yet not a cat yet. He likes to ride upstairs in the laundry fresh from the dryer. Now that he weighs 12 lbs. I discourage this behavior but he tends to jump in when I've got the basket full of laundry 1/2 way off the floor. I'm gonna need a chiropractor soon.

He's a good boy

 

He's a very nice looking boy! But I always assumed he was Siamese...

 

Zeus evens out the playing field with me having 2 meezers. Although the meezers were local rescues (owner give ups) Zeus was adopted from the shelter. I adore the siamese breed - but I also adore DSH kitties in shelters that need homes...so there will always be a "mutt" kitty in my house. He does even the playing field though...he's doesn't have that "needy" personality that siamese can have (which I like).

Zeus was supposed to be my son's cat but he became a momma's boy. Geoff is working really hard to make Zeus trust him but I don't think Zeus will ever be as close to Geoff as our Sessy cat was.

 

Zeus is so darn cute! My toddler does the same and I think my back has had it. Just kidding. BTW, he's 24-5 lbs. I think my muscles are getting stronger. :0023:
