Moe & Artemis - together at last!

Well, sort of. Unfortunately for Moe, Artemis is getting big enough to jump up on her high places. Here she was enjoying her favourite sleep spot (you will all recognize it):



And then along came the little twerp:



Notice how she gets pushed over to the edge? Poor girl. She growls at first, but eventually she just gives up and lets him sleep with her:



And then as soon as nap time ends for him, he has to give her a good bite in the neck:



She rarely gets a moments peace anymore. I wish I'd gotten to my camera faster to catch them both actually asleep. With all the 'oohing' and 'aahing' Artemis sat up before the camera was ready.

 

Poor Moe... Seems like Artemis is growing up to be the boss.
But it's great to see them thogether :y_the_best: They are both so adorable!

 

The looks on both of them in the second picture is priceless! Poor Moe! I remember having kittens bother adult cats and the poor adults did not seem humored. Then again, the kitten is just looking to be nice!

By the way, I love your wall color! (We just did my kitchen and bathroom red).

Poor Moe. Hopefully they will be great friends soon. Looks like Moe is doing well in tolerating the little one. Great pictures.

Thanks. Moe's getting used to him, but still not liking him. He just wants to fight all the time. She can't spend a lot of time on the floor without being pounced on. I'm hoping he'll grow out of it soon.

Lucidity - thanks for the compliments on my wall colour. I've always wanted a red room. It was such a pain to paint though - 4 coats and it's still not perfect - and it's a big room.

 

Moe is just letting Artemis know that she's the boss. It'll take a few weeks of them being together. Artemis will learn to respect the guidelines that Moe lays down and all will be well.

From looking at the pic's, Artemis is doing fine and Moe is just being the Alpha that she knows she is. She's not abusing Artemis, just teaching his place.

Its nice to see pictures of the two of them together.

 

They look very cute together. I'm sure Artemis will mellow out over time and Moe will tolerate him even better. I sure hope they become good friends in time. I love the first pic. Moe looks like a ying-yang sculpture or model. :mrgreen: I love your red wall too! :y_the_best:

aww how sweet....he is a doll..and of course Moe is adorable...

i am still waiting for the day when jazz lets my 2 boys anywhere near her without the growling...so far hasnt happened..lol
