molting for more than 1 bird

    why when keeping more than 1m bird don't all of the birds molt at the same time??? there In the same place do the same things eat the same foods I don't get it!!!

    Its depends on the birds some birds kept together will motl around the same time some its a few days to a couple of months later.

    I have had birds that molt really bad and have had some that molt in certain parts of the body and dont carry on with the molt until the first new feathers have come through.

    It also depends on the time of year the birds where had hatched.
    Birds hatched in the spring will molt in the spring
    Those in the summer will molt between spring and summer
    those hatched in the winter will molt between spring and winter.
