I just added a couple audio and video clips to the page. If you click on them, be patient as they load. I don't have the right compression software at home to make the files smaller.

Great site and beautiful birds :y_the_best:

Captain Jack Sparrow reminds me of the canary I had when I was younger. I love the red factor canary's, I'll hopefully be getting a red factor in a few weeks.

Great pics, I love the one of the 'white-headed nun' hiding behind the leaves.
I was wondering what kinds of bushes, leaves, twigs etc are safe in a budgies cage, I know the small branches are good for their feet. I dont have them yet (the budgies) but Id like to get a good housing area ready for when I do get them, Im not worried about it 'looking' decorative for myself or anything but I'd like it to be interesting and confortable for them.

The plants in my bird cage are fake. I read that silk or plastic are best, and to make sure you don't put a pot in the cage that has that foam stuff they use for fake plants. The one the nuns are hiding in is just a long string of fake leaves and flowers held together by plastic links. I just twist-tied it to the bars on the top of the cage and let it hang down.

To get the sounds and video, I just video-taped with my camcorder and then plugged it in to my computer using a Firewire cable. I used Adobe Premiere to capture it because I have access to it through work, but you can capture and create basic video in Windows Movie Maker that comes standard with Windows (or iMovie if you happen to have a Mac). Final Cut is my favorite video software but I don't have a Mac at home and there is no Windows version.

Oh, and all of the photos were taken through the bars of the cage. I got better as time went on. :)
