Mouse Catchers

ROFL here! My cats caught a small mouse, which they do from time to time, and it's so funny to watch them with it. This one they must have actually killed, usually they don't (I free them outdoors). They are taking turns slapping it and knocking it around, each one that gets it growls at the other cats trying to keep them away. They usually act this way also over those small furry fake mice, but I can't keep those cause they lose them almost as soon as I give it to them. I just love watching them. :lol:

 

Yuck! I hate it when they kill them. Mine have caught 3 so far(not all in the same day)....Bean is so gentle that I was able to get one little mouse away from him and I released it at the park. The other 2 were dead when I got home from work. I found Tiddy sitting on the kitchen floor batting the dead mouse around and the other time the mouse they caught was flattened (as if they had been taking turns sitting on it) on my dining room floor.

 

Yeah, it is yucky. It's natural to the cats but hard to see sometimes. I hate when mine just torture the mouse. I always get it away when they have dropped it for a second so I can release it. I can't stand ANY animal tortured. I never saw this one alive, since it's dead I will let them play with it a while. They never do anything put carry it around and bat it around.

 

LOL! Yes, you are right...its much worse when you see them alive first.

 

Oh man! Li Li ate the mouse! I didn't think she would. I happened to look over and saw the tail end of it disappear inside her mouth. Ewwww! gross... :0024:

I hate it when I can't make it in time to stop Vene or Milo from either toying to death or devouring the poor little critters. :qm4:
