Hello everyone, I was wondering how picky budgies are about the location of their cage, now I know in a place with no draughts, direct sunlight due to over heating etc.... but I was wondering if it would be OK for when I go to work to move her to my bedroom where there is a window (which is blocked by the direct sun) so that she could look out... Do they get used to where there cage is located and go into shock when it is moved or would they enjoy to be moved around every day to different places??? Just a thought I know none of us are birds so no one knows for sure LOL
    thanks again!

Its always best to leave the cage where its situated as changing a cages place can but the bird on edge and inturn make it depressed this is not always the case.

When no-one is home i usually leave a radio or tv on and they have plenty of toys plus each other to keep them occupied.

If placing a bird near a window it has to be so the sunlight does not get in the cage so for a bird to look out of the window it would mean direct light unless you have blinds or shutters then you can tilt them to block out most of the sunlight but enough so the bird can see out..
