I was wondering how often you people change things around in your cages... I have heard that you are suppost to switch the toys but how often do you guys switch them and do you move the perches??

    Hi drab911
I change my cockatoos toys every day and I change the perches every 2 or 3 day.

HI you can change the changes and perches around whenever you like i prefer to do this twice a week as it keeps them occupied changing them too oten can put them on edge especially if you have a breeding pair of birds in a cage and then they should not be changed at all if your breeding them.

Other than that change them round when you feel a change is needed to keep there minds occupied.

Today is only my birds 5th day being at this new house.. she came from a pet store.. do you think that I should maybe let her be for another week or so before I start movin things around... she is still pretty timid.. she is eating however she kinda just sits where ever she chooses and doesnt climb around or fly much at all.. is this normal?
