I have 4 cats. I put their dry food in one of those free feeder things. Is just one enough if i have 4 cats? They seem to take turns, just wasnt sure if i should keep a spare bowl out too. Thanks

I have one set of dishes for my cats too....the fosters have dishes set out and everyone uses those 2. I don't use a free feeder but do keep dry food available at all times.
Mine also seem to take turns. Never had any fights over food.

I have two dishes with dry cat food in them all the time. One dish for each kitty but they both eat out of both of the dishes at different times. Sometimes, though, they are both eating at the same time.

I guess it would be just whatever works for you. :p

If they seem okay with it...no fights, weight loss ect. I'd say thats just fine.

Each of mine has their own bowl, they all eat at the same time. At one time I only had 4 dishes and the fatter cats would hog all the food so I went to scheduled feedings and added more bowls.

My 5 cats all share one big bowl (which we also free feed). In all the years I've had these cats, no one has fought over food. They never eat at the same time. On occassion I have seen two of them squish together and eat out of their bowl. But, we've never had problems.
