My birds wings clipped to small??????

    My parents just bought another bird from the lady that was owning it and just last night when he got out of his cage and was trying to fly around he got blood all over the walls my sister said she saw it coming from his wings could anybody help me and tell me what it might be and how to help fix it!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :y_the_best: :mrgreen:

    put some corn starch on the where it is bleeding. He hit a main artery in his wing which is causing the bleeding. Corn starch will cause the wound to close faster.

    If he has broken a blood feather you will have to find the feather that is bleeding and pull it, Once out apply corn starch and this will stop the bleeding.

    Blood feathers are the ones that are connected to a constant blood supply, Do not worry a new feather will take its place once it goes through the next molt.
