My 15 year old cat Shadow has been loosing her hair and now her tail is starting. I cannot bring her to the vet because she gets so stressed she poops all over herself. Does anyone have a clue as to why they loose hair or what I can do about going to the vet? I'll take any advice. Thank you.

I don't know where you live, but there are a few traveling vets in my city that will come to your home. Do a search for "mobile vet" in the phone book or online.

I'm sorry about your cat. Hopefully you'll be able to get her help soon.

Hi and welcome to Auspet. :D Great idea, Halaroo. :y_the_best: If you can't find a vet to come to your home, perhaps your local vet would give you some sort of medication to calm your cat down so you can bring her. You can always call and ask.

Hair loss can be cause by so many things. Keep us posted and let us know what happens.
