Poodles are lovely dogs. Is it a standard, miniature, or toy poodle?

 

I love Poodles....generally extremely smart dogs.

 

I love Poodles too. So elegant, and sneaky!

I wanted a black standard for years, still do. Everyone told me they're not very good at being left alone as they're people/company dogs, so I didn't take the risk. There was one on Floobs puppy training course and she was great at staying home alone, so it's not true.

I'll get one in the end.

 

That's the way I am about Goldens.

A miniature or toy poodle is on my list of maybe dogs for the future.

 

But Nik, isn't Floob a border collie? How does he do at being left alone? I always thought that was what I wanted, but my brother gave me Zoey (dachshund) as a present and now I think I wouldn't have been right with a border collie at all.
