    MaiTai and Dixie.
MaiTai is doing really well and in spite of her blindness I've always found her in a dresser drawer 2x. She laid on my son's lap while he Zoom Groomed her and she loved it.
Dixie, on the other hand, is really scared and I had to get her out from under the sofa once. She's really chubby and can barely move under there.
I have to watch Dixie for awhile to see if she'll eat. Can't let her go too long w/out eating since she is so fat.
MaiTai has nibbled on some dry food.
Amazes me...the one w/out sight is less fearful while the sighted one is petrified.
I predict...these 2 girls will have homes in 2 weeks. Maybe not leave here since MaiTai needs some major dental work, but I think she'll be spoken for by then.

Hi Mary. They will be going to the same home, right?

yes...they've been together for 10 years and although not huggy chummy bonded they are friends and loyal to each other.
I had to force feed Dixie tonight as she hadn't been observed eating in some time so it was advised I get something into her (fatter cats have a higher chance of getting fatty liver disease from not eating than thinner cats)....MaiTai could hear us and she had here eyes in our direction. I think she shows concern for her old friend.
    They are really sweet cats

I'm glad they will both go to their new forever home together. I hope Dixie will be eating well soon.
