 I would like to present, Byboer. He's our newest Boerboel addition. he's from South Africa. He's 2 yrs old and right at 179lbs. He's definately a monster!!!! He's got the best temperament I've ever seen. His conformation, structure, disposition... to DIE for!!!!

He was shipped to me from Ohio and we picked him up from the Houston Airport last night.

Precious is having mixed feelings about him. He's SOOO big he dwarfs them! LOL
Kabuki on the other hand is in puppy love... The pics aren't that great, I took them at 11pm last night with my camera phone. But you get the idea! The first pics are the ones sent to me before I baught him.

    Handsome guy!!
Looks like your ready to start breeding!

Is By's tail docked shorter than your girls?
I am not that familiar with Mastiff standards.

    Awww thanks yall!!!
Yes he's very handsome. I sat on the floor yesterday with him picking him apart and trying to find every flaw in him. Only ones I could find were 1.) he's still growing and could use a bit more muscle mass throughout his hind end to make him a bit more balanced to the front. and a bit more filing out, but just a tad...
and 2.) just the cosmetic pressure points at his elbows and hocks.

Other than that, he's flawless as far as the standard goes.... but the pressure "pads" (I call them) are just ugly.

Thats just something thats not going to go away and something I can't prevent. Even Kabuki and Precious have them, and they have the softest beds... and the ground is always soft unless their in kennels, which have concrete floors, but I have at least 2-3 bags of shavings over it. Ive been applying some bagbalm on them but haven't seen a change. My other dogs had little ones too. Never could get rid of them.

NO, his tail is docked as per the standard. You can have a natural tail, but honestly, I'm glad its docked!!! It never stops wagging and his WHOLE body just wiggles and jiggles!! He's the happiest guy ever.

And no, his toungue is always out! LOL he's just the happiest laid back guy. Although, he did try playing with the girls this morning. IT was kind of funny watching him get down on his front end with his big ol' butt sticking up in the air! He's a monster. But don't let that fool you!!! He can MOVE!!!

I'm not quite ready to start breeding just yet. He's going to the vet today. He's had ALL of his health testings. I'm having him temperament tested and then taking him to an appraisal. I'm sure he'll score high in the 80's if not a 90%. Its taken me YEARS to find something like him. ANd I didn't find him. Rayna Stout found him, and KNEW he was what we were looking for. She put me in contact with the man that imported him and well... here he is!!! I'm just thrilled to no end with him.
He's just SOOO perfect. Every aspect of him just amazes me. I've never been happier. Well, except when I got my girls! LOL

I want one! Pepsi is very old and I expect her to leave me this year or soon the next. She is not replacable but a female like yours would be a close fit.
How much did you spend total on one of yours so I can start saving.
I hope I have a year at least to save but I just found out that Pepsi is not 12 or 13 as I thought but closer to 14/15 and for a Staffordshire that is really getting up there.
Originally I had thought I would want a Dogo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogo_Argentino
But since they have the fighting dog in them I dicided to shy away.

The Dogo's are a beautiful breed! They look like they have dry mouths too.
I think if you got a puppy from a good breeder that was breeding the dogs for family pets - it would probably have a very sweet temperment.

I love the white color and some of them have a cute black patches around their eyes. I especially liked the natural ears - it give the dogs a softer look.

They are still on my list to consider but there are some other troubles they can get such as deafness, and sunburns. These things I have not had to contend with since my boys are black and Pepsi being a Staffordshire has only had to deal with typical deseases, except for the tumor she had.

I guess any of the Mastiff breeds will have some animal dominance problems to contend with. Even my boys having Rott in them have this problem, then add in the Chow to really make things exciting.

Well Dmike.... Since Boe so far has checked out awsome and all his scores are just amazing. We're considering pairing him with Precious on her next cycle. I've put alot of thought into this, and I've been lookin up Boe for quite some time before I bought him... at least a month or so...

I think they'd just be awsome. I'd be stupid not to.

Ummm as far as price goes. I just have to see what I get. I have a waiting list already, but a few ppl I'm culling out just because I don't htink htey know enough about them, or have the adequate room, space, ect....

Both dogs have an AWSOME temperament. There's no doubt i'm not going to be pleased with the pairing and offspring. None of the puppies will be sold for breeding purposes. Right now I'm breeding primarily for myself.. and to see what my dogs are producing and capable of as far as working goes. So they will all be sold with pet quality. The average price for a pet is ranging anywhere from $1200 to $2500 depending on which breeder you use. I can reccomend a few REALLY good ones. You have to be careful with some of them here in the US... their not all "truthful" nor "respectable".

There are some that are trying to get them into the AKC, which in my mind is a fatal mistake.. but thats another story.

I think you'd make a wonderful Boel' owner... keep in touch with me. I have a new website now... I just started building it so its under construction...

I have alot more to do on it but hopefully we'll be finished with it by the end of next week.

Precious has finally warmed up to him. We do not allow any of the dogs to be together anymore unless we are there to watch them. So they all have their own kennels now. We've decided to completely redo them and get the Prefert Magnum kennel system. Its really nice. Just can't wait till they get here and installed!!! WOoo hooo!!!

Here's a picture of Boe and the girls chasing him. He's such a sweetie, and definately looks after his ladies!

Yes he does! he's quite intemidating. But such a lover boy.
He knocks me down pretty easily so we're working on "No jump". He's got his dewclaws still. I'm having them removed. Hes already caught one and torn it. No bad, but I can just see him really injuring them. That and he "grabs" me with them and they are razor sharp. He jumped up on me this weekend when I wasn't looking to play, and caught me with his right one in the side just below my ribs, I've got a nasty tear in the skin. Didn't need stiches but close. So for the safety of me and the girls.... and himself, we're having them removed. Their not "fused" to his paws, just kinda floppy, so it won't be too bad.
