I can't help you with the lump on her nose - I'd take her to the vet to have it looked at. As for playing tug-of-war with her, I see no problem with that at all. I don't think young puppies should be played with too rough, but even some light tug-of-war should be okay for little ones. 2 of my dogs absolutely love to play fetch and tug-of war. The others could care less. But the two I play tug-of war with are no more agressive or dominant than the ones who don't play tug-of-war.

There are many possibilities on what it could. If she is rather young, then I would rule out any type of cancerous mass. If it just popped up out of nowhere it could be a bug bite of some type, or if your dog eats out of plastic bowls, that could be the problem. MANY dogs are allergic to plastic dog bowls. If your dog is allergic then there will redness on the nose and snout, and some hairloss. In extreme cases there will be the redness but more hairloss, swelling, and bumps. If it hasn't gone away, then I would suggest taking your dog to the vet.
