My silly little kitty

Gracie is so funny! Normally she is a rather aloof kitty, wanting affection only about once a week, and on her terms, lol. Since I got back from South Padre she has been so clingy! I actually checked her markings and tags to be sure she was my cat, lol. She's rubbing on my feet right now, which is rather odd for her. She also has a thing with drinking out of the faucet, I've already found her twice today sitting in the bathroom sink waiting for me turn it on, I think probably because it is cold water. I also got her some cat treats since they were on sale, and she will only eat them if I drop them on the floor. I tried giving them to her from my hand, or setting it in front of her, but that just won't do. It must be dropped look like an accident when I drop it, or she won't eat it, lol. What are some of y'alls cats odd behaviors?

LOL. Well, at least she didn't give you attitude when you got back from your trip. Some cats get very upset when we leave and they certainly let us know how they feel.
As for my cat the only thing that comes to mind is that since our baby girl was born 10 months ago she has to sleep in everything that our baby goes in (the crib is off limits of course), but she goes into the strollers, the different carriers and on and on). I think she may feel a bit neglected at times and wants to be the baby too.

Copper is just plain strange lol, but Sabrina only has a few quirks. She has to mark--that is rub on--everything that comes in from outside. Shoes, boxes left on the front steps by the mailman, towels I've dried the car with etc.

My cat Sonoma is like that. She was never a people cat and spent most her time with my mom(even though I brought her in). I move from home and couldn't take her with me, but moved back in about a year later. Recently I'll come outside and she'll come bounding out of the bushes(scares me because she looks like a skunk at night) purring and mewing and rubbing up against, and even letting me hold her. She comes when she's called, which was rare even when I was here. Very strange she'll all lovie and affectionate on me.

haha, maybe they think you'll leave again if they're not nice this time, lol.

Pumpkin used to be momma's girl but after I returned from a 3 week vaca overseas, she would not even come near me for 2 weeks straight. Talk about a cat with an attitude! She used to nap on my chest/belly but when I became pregnant, she moved over to hubby's chest and has not been back since. She still follows me around the house all day long and begs for those forbidden table scraps (chicken, fish, peas and carrots).
