Nature's Miracle and also food (rant)

I bought some Nature's Miracle today. Can't wait to see how well this stuff really works. There are a few hairball stains on my dining room carpet that I could'nt get out with Resolve so I'm hoping the NM will work on those. The bottle says it can be used to clean litterboxes as well so I'm going to try it on those too. :y_the_best:

    Just a rant-
I unexpectidly ran out of Wellness the other day and could'nt ge to the store I usually get it at so I ran to another store (Treats Unleashed) that also carries it on my lunch break and the store was no longer there! So, I ended up going to another store and picking up a bag of Natural Balance which my cats love so I was thinking about keeping them on that for a while. Luckily, there were no digestive upsets with the abrupt food switch.
Later, I looked in the phone book to see if Treats Unleashed went out of business or just moved to a new location and discovered that they did move and now carried a larger selection of foods (they had an ad which listed all the brands they carry) including Timberwolf Organics! I was so excited...I've been using the dog food for quite a while and have been so pleased with it but could'nt get the cat food locally up until now. So I went and picked up a bag of the cat food today and also a grabbed a bag of the dog food (since it was $2 cheaper per bag than the store I usually get it from!! ) and could'nt wait to get home to see how they liked it. I was'nt going to switch foods again though until the NB was almost gone but just gave them a little taste of the T.O. to try and the only one interested in it was Chieve!! Chieve dug right in but the others just stared at me waiting for their NB. I am so disappointed. These cats hardly ever give me a hard time with food. A majority of the time they happyily eat whatever I give them. Now I'm wondering if its just because they like the NB so much. So, I'm going to try introducing the T.O. to them again when the NB is almost gone and I'm hoping they will accept it then.

Hope Nature's miracle work. I usually use Era or Whisk detergent on the spots with a disinfectant. Then I use Resolve for that fresh scent smell. I love shopping for cheaper quality foods even if it's a couple of dollars off. Good deal! I've never heard of TO. What are the ingredients? Our kitties are the same way. They all used to like Wellness until I switched to Chicken Soup. Then when Gold Premium came alone, they refused anything else I would give them. Chieve is a good little kitty who likes changes. Don't you just hate it when they turn up their noses at the new foods or treats we give them?

Its very calorie dense so I'm going to really have watch how much I feed if I can get them to eat it that is.

Yes, it drives me nuts. Bella especially gives me a hard time with canned foods. I bet if I did'nt just recently switch dry foods they would have eaten the T.O. with no hesitation. :?

    LOL.

They were on Chicken Soup for about 5 months but I rotate brands usually every 3 - 5 months for variety. However, if I ever find a brand that I am extemely happy with I will probably stop rotating brands. So far I've been the happiest with Innova but the last 2 times I used it it was very gritty (I'm not sure why) and my cats did'nt like it much but it was never like that before....I've used it frequently over the past 3yrs. Maybe it was just the way the store was handling it or those bags were the end of a batch. :?

Wow, you really had me confused because I thought I did post the picture of Bean & Chieve in the photo contest.
Oh I think I know what picture you are talking about! The one with Bean and Hoggle as a kitten laying on the chair next to each other? I've been digging for that picture to post in the Before and After thread and I can't find it anywhere! LOL.

Wow, that is only the second organic cat food that I've ever heard of, I should give that a try. Luna is currently on a mix of Blue Buffalo (their LifeSource bits - unheated vitamin/mineral mixture - are what attracted me to them) and Nutro Indoor Complete and she loves it, but I would prefer that it were organic as well.

I cracked up when I read that (although sorry to hear about the fussy eaters) because I know that scenario well. I find some new amazing food and do a big build up with Luna, and then she takes one sniff and then sits there staring at me waiting for her "real" meal.

    LOL Lunaguy!

Actually, I'm not positive that T.O. contains organic ingredients. I think usually it specifies "organic" before the ingredient (organic chicken, organic brown rice, ect.).

I do know of a few organic cat foods though -
Organix, Newmans Own and Nature's Variety (some organic ingredients)

Could not resist buying Nature's Miracle. I couldn't wait to hear the results since friends came over today and a couple of days ago. It works great. I had old puke spots on my rugs that stained. I tried Nature's Miracle once and the spot looked darker than ever. Then I reapplied it and the stain went away! Silly me didn't wipe off the wet spot first time around. I'm just surprised how well it works. The Pet Surplus store worker told me that Nature's Miracle was their #1 seller for cleaning up stains. So I gave it a try and I'm very pleased with the results! :0020: :0018: No more worries about :0024: :m32:

Guess I forgot to give an update....
All of the hairball stains are gone!!!
It even took out a bunch of tiny black stains from when I dropped a black candle wick on the rug, could'nt find it and then smeared it all over the rug when I stepped on it. I am thrilled with Nature's Miracle. I used the entire bottle and I'm going to buy another bottle next time I get to the store just so I have it on hand.

P.S. My cats still won't eat the Timberwolfs...I started mixing it in near the end of the bag of the Natural Balance and they mostly picked around it. Today they got all Timberwolfs and barely ate any of it so I went out and bought another bag of NB. I guess I'll use that for a while...they seem to love it.

i have used spot cleaners before, though, and they will cause my carpet to get dark spots after it is cleaned...or between cleanings....something in the product draws dirt, and i get these dark spots everywhere. i just got my carpet cleaned, though...and he said he thinks they are gone. so i have two questions...1) does anyone know what im talking about...with the dark spots after you use a cleaner :0011: ...and 2) does natures miracle cause this to occur.

i have alot of places that i used spot cleaner, when otis was alive. :( he used to throw up alot in the spring time. :0024: the last carpet cleaning got it out mostly...

Same here. Will let you know Lynn if the Nature's Miracle treated spots attract more dirt in the long run. I love it so far!
