need help with Lonely lovebird

Recently one of my masked lovebirds, Tommy, passed away, leaving his mate, Gina, alone.
I have 2 other lovebirds named peaches and cream, and i let all three lovebirds out to play at the same time.
At first peaches, cream and gina played together fine, just as they di when tommy was still alive, However i have begun to notice that peaches and cream are becoming more vicious towards gina, and leave her by herself for long periods of time.
This is upsetting me quite a lot, as i hate to see gina so lonely.
Gina is a timid bird, who is not quite tame, she loves being out of her cage, but i have begun to notice when i let her out alone (so peaches and cream do not attack her) she over preens herself a lot, pulling at her feathers quite violently.
My vet has said that she is doing this as she is lonely but he did not suggest what to do about it.
Does anyone think that getting another bird for gina is a good idea? and if so what type of bird?

The only bird you could safely put in with your lovebirds is another lovebird.

If you get another one you need to keep it away from the others for 30days this is too make sure there is no problems with it.

Giving her plenty of toys and out of cage time to spend with you and the family is the only other option, Since she has started picking her feathers something needs to be done ASAP as this will become a habit and she will eventually mutilate herself.

Once feather picking habits have started it can be hard to stop it.
This aswell as her stressing will make her very ill so if the other birds picking on her seems to stres her in anyway i would keep them apart as stress can kill a bird within hours sometimes minutes.
