Netting for front of avairy...

Hey everyone.. SO I have decided that I am going to start looking for an old dresser to convert into an indoor avairy well a small one at least for just 4 or maybe 5 budgies... I was in Home Depot and I saw some Mesh netting.. I am pretty sure it is like a metal mesh you nkow kinda like with the little diamonds.. I ran my finger on the insides of the holes and they are not sharp.. and they are quite small so there is no chance for escape.. Do you guys think this would be OK for the front? Or do the birds rely on the bars to get around?? I just wana give them more space to fly and to all be toghether instead of in seperate cages.. thanks for any suggesttions.. I am open to any ideas!

 

Hi mesh is fine to use aslong as it is pulled tight when placed on the the front.

You will also need to figure out how to make a door wether it be on the side of the dresser or on the mesh either way it needs to be secure so that they can not escape.
