My friend Shauns Female just had a litter of puppies on 01May04, He bred her to a white male that is a pit also. But my ?? is do the new born puppies ears supposed to stick out? And If so how long before they go to normal?[IMG]

How cute of a question is this? lol

They will start going "normal" when they start to hear sounds. Two weeks?

It's perfectly normal. Pit bulls can have many different ear styles. I love the last puppy with the "cow patches" so so cute!

thanks 4 the info, you guys are always a great source to come to. My friend is supposed to be giving me one of the puppies. He had 4 2 males 2 females, the 2 males are the white w/spots, and the females are the black ones. Just one more ?? the females' coats were solid black with white markings when first born, but now they have a hin of a brown in them, does this usally happen with brindle puppies?if you look close at the top picture you can see some of it.

I bet they'll turn out to be the "seal" color...

I'm not sure, I haven't seen any brindles that young... I'd also like to know?

The 1st pup does not look brindle to me I agree with Sara they may turn out to be a seal color.
Any brindle pups I have ever seen their brindle stripes were apparent even at birth.

No I dont have any pics of the parents, Shaun said that the sire looks somwhat like my male but with a brindle patch on his but. His female is white and dark brindle. What does "seal' look like?

Almost a chocolate color kinda a brownish black.
It's very pretty though especially with a healthy shiny coat.
