Well I got a phone call today from the lady at the ASPCA because i had asked if she or someone could please call me and tell me what was going on with these people and their dogs. Well she calls the house this morning when i was working one of the horses so I take a break from that and go and grab the corles in the barn. So yeah this lady toldy me she had two oficers go out and check out the condition of the dogs and found it absolutly appalling. She told me that the Coon Hound had what looked to be a scar all around his neck ( turned out to be a coller not only embedded but grown over with new skinand a new coller put on over it). It had snowed over night the the dogs little mudd hut had collapsed and so they just kinda huddled together they also found the smallest houd to have no right hind foot ( as iff someone had cut it off  ) the foxhound was just skinny and very afraid. She told me her officers had no choice but to sieze the animals.

So yeah the Officers then go on up the road to the farm house to tell this family that their dogs were being siezed and the man and women were very upset and had a great screaming match until the officers threatened to call the police. After they picked up the hounds they asked if they could have a look at any other animals on the property. To make a long story short here's what else they ended up taking in along with the three Hounds. Seven cats all emaciated and sickly some with broken bones ( three of which had to humanly put down do to health problems one being a kitten with a cracked skull from being kicked in the head), 4 horses tw of which are draft horses one was a Finnish Draft, and anouther a Cross of something or other the owners did not even know ( the problems with the drafts they were covers in bumps, bruises, and scar's head to toe and on their last legs just bags of bones) and then two light cart horses both of which are TB's both starved have to death and bloody mess'es, they also seized a halph dead calf the found in the pasture alone with a stick stuck in its bony side, they also found two more dogs in the barn this time terriers a Jack Russel and and a pregnant Smooth Fox terrier both halpf starved and beaten when asked where their food was the man said their ratting dogs if their hungry enough they'll hunt. They enned up siezing thirteen or fourteen animals from this farm!!!! Leaving the few dair cows behind because they seemed healthy enough.

Since my family and the ASPCA work together so well my father and i will be going up this evening when everything's done here to help out with the animals and so who can be moved here. Were thinking already that a couple of the horses will come, the calf will definatly be coming, probely a cat or two, probley the pregnant Terrier, and probley we're thinking all thre hounds unless we're told other wise. i have been working in our "recovery barn" for the past 5 hours getting it clean and ready for animals. I have four dog ready stalls, four horse ready (even though we wil probley only take one or two), one calf stall, and IF we bgin cats they will go in the spare room. They only reason not all the dogs can come in is simply room we already 8 dogs in our home we could'nt possibly fit more. Of course this is all in preperation who knows what we will and will not bring home.

Thank you so much for speaking out and getting help for these animals! I hope those people receive a hefty fine for all this abuse and neglect.

I am so glad that you reported what you saw! It's because of people like you and everyone else on this board, who don't just stand around and accept the abuse of animals but do something about it, that millions of abused animalls are rescued every year. It just goes to show that if you report something like this, you can make a difference! :)

Like i said. In the end, no matter who you are, you have to abide by the laws of not only government, but nature as well...

Glad you did something about it. Kudo's to you.
