New member's puppy past away from Parvo

:cry: jadediesel's pit puppy past away after 6 days in the vet's care of Parvo. I got a private e-mail message from her and I wanted to let everyone know to send out their best wishes to her on her terrible loss. Was only 9 weeks old. :cry:

 

It's such a terrible diseases. Please tell her how sorry I feel for her. Know words can make it feel better but I hope this is a little help.
Blessed are our children and the love they give they ask nothing in return but give us so much . The time may have been short but one minute of love touches a heart for ever.

Jaded: I know what a hard time this is for you. Please remember that you did all you could and he knows that too. You made him a happy boy for his short life and for that you will both be grateful forever.

Im so sorry for the sadness you must be feeling. Losing a pet is such a hard thing to go through. Parvo is such a horrible disease. Again Im very sorry for your loss.

 

honeybears- I did too. I have to say, I am a little upset with vets in general regarding their advice on Parvo. I understand their thinking behind their advice, but when I told our vet what we did to pull Sarge through, he said "oh, yea, I have heard alot of people say that works" yet he told me none of it! I learned it here! The most important point I was told over and over was to keep getting the Pediolyte and broth down him and give him the anti vomiting and anti diarreha meds. I feel so bad for jade! Poor little girl never even got to go back home!
