Hi, its been a while since I posted here. Today I have to take Nitro to the vet he is having problems pooping. I was wondering if anyone here knows what the problem may be. I am a little worried just because of his age(16).

    Thanks Scott 8)

Hello all, Nitro and I thank you for the well wishes. He is doing fine he went on his own a little after I last posted. I still took him to the vet and she checked him out and said he was probably not drinking enough water. It is very very hot here in the desert. She gave him an iv just to give him more fluids. and did some blood work to check for other things. Ok so while I was typing this the Vet called and Nitros blood work came back negative. He also weighed in at heafty 23.7 lbs

    thats a heavy cat!!

You know, obesity(sp) is a large factor as well when it comes to BM's. The fat gets too thick it messes with the contracting of the intestines.

That may be a small cause... course the lack of hydration doesnt help either ;)

glad to hear things are getting better!! :y_the_best:
