Not Dog related but would you walk out on this...

This structure called the skywalk is being constructed overlooking the Grand Canyon on an indian reservation. It projects 70' out and is 4000' above the canyon floor. If that's not scary enough, the floor and sides are glass, the floor 4" thick. It is to be completed in 2006.
I get dizzy just looking at this rendering. Just wondering how many of you would take this walk.
    Not I.

I'm not walking that, unless they feel like building 4,000 foot pillars to hold it up. I'm not the best with heights, lol.

I'd do it... with a safety line, a jet pack and a parachute!

I'm sure it's completely safe. And no, I would not walk on it. I am afraid of heights! When I visited the Grand Canyon with my boyfriend in college, he would walk right up to the edge and turn around for me to take his picture. I couldn't even sit down and slowly back toward the edge. I mean, how could someone fall when already sitting down?! But I couldn't do it.

My husband would walk on that, though.

Oh heck no!!! Uh uh.... now I can sit atop a huge horse, stand up even, but getting past the second step of a ladder makes me sick...

    Oh hell no....

Granve jumped out of a plane at 3000' this past July for a bachelor party, and we went to the top of the Rocky mountains on our visit to Sara's to get Precious and Kabuki....

I visited natural bridge caverns in San Antonio once... we were something like 250' below ground on thislittle walk way overlooking an underground canyon.... I threw up sat down and refused to go any further... I got teased sooo bad, everyone was like, whatcha gonna do? Fall up??? lol, I think not....

I googled Grand Canyon Skywalk and came up with pages of reference articles. Here's the kicker. One article said they planned to charge $25.00 per person to walk out. I think that will be a very short line. :D :D :D

I can see why they are charging $25, its not part of the park but an indian reservation, and they have created a resort and this will be part of it and they are trying to make $$ for their tribe by NOT going into the casino business which I think is a great idea
