OSO DOSENT EAT MUCH, I WAS FEEDING EUKA, BUT HE WASNT HAPPY ABOUT THAT, I SWITCHED TO NUTRO-MAX, ABOUT 3/4 EUKA &1/4 NUTRO, I HAND FED HIM A MORSELS OF NUTRO AND HE LIKED IT, BUT EVEN NOW HE DOSENT EAT. I'D SAY HE EATS ABOUT 1 CUP OF FOOD ADAY. HE DRINKS JUST FINE, & WILL DRINK AS MUCH AND AS OFTEN AS GIVEN, HE'S IN GOOD SPIRTS, SOMETIMES SLEEPS ALOT, THIS MORNING HE ATE ABOUT A 1/4 OF HIS FOOD THEN THREW IT UP ABOUT 4 MINS LATER. THEN HE TRIED TO EAT THAT. SOMETIMES WHEN HE'S OUTSIDE HE GETS A HOLD OF LIL WOODCHIPS,OR EATS GRASS. WOULD THAT MAKE HIM VOMIT?SHOULD I TAKE HIM TO A VET?

If he is vomiting very often then definetely take him to the vet. As far as your dog eating grass they will eat grass when they have an upset stomach in order to cause vomiting. And sometimes just for no reason. It's not harmful to them. If he is gaining weight and otherwise seems healthy he should be fine. You are the best judge if you feel he's not behaving normal then I would take him to the vet for a checkup.
    Good Luck to you.

The grass eating is pretty normal. When we got Harley at 9 months, she would hardly eat for the first couple of days. I too had to hand feed her, but she was constantly in the grass eating it!
I have also heard that if dogs eat grass and rocks (yes, more normal than you would think) they are lacking some nutrient. Not sure if I believe it about grass, but the rock eating could be an idication of calcium.

Anyways, glad you are gradually switching the food. Often times this can upset the tummy of a dog, which is probably why he threw up. Nutro is a WONDERFUL product in my opinion. I feed Nutro Ultra and LOVE the results. Its all natural products and I can't believe the stool difference.

Keep gradually transitioning the food over. But if the vomiting keeps up, (more than 2 times say) I would take him to a vet. Better safe than sorry.
